Join left handed and multilingual artist Mary Pullen Deacon in her art studio to explore the heritage skill of BOOKBINDING.

Mary brings twenty years’ experience of teaching and binding books to the studio, to educate and motivate YOU!

Budding Bookbinder | Handbound Pamphlets workshop invites you to embark upon a journey, learning skills in foundational bookbinding techniques, whilst making your own design and materials choices along the way. The workshop is suitable for beginners and improvers. Mary will differentiate techniques for those of you who have attended a previous Handbound Pamphlet workshop.

Spaces are limited to a maximum of six participants to allow for high quality, individual tuition within the group, and to nurture a feeling of calm and wellbeing. All are welcome (18+) and Mary will carefully guide you towards achieving your goals.

The workshop fee of £50 per person includes two hours of expert tuition; high quality, eco friendly materials; the use of traditional bookbinding tools; and light refreshments. Mary’s studio is a nut free zone.

Mary welcomes participants with additional needs and her studio is fully accessible during Dice & Slice café opening hours.
