Creative Project | Mary Honours Marie | After Laüstic (2021)

Awarded a residency with The Minories, Colchester, I spent two months in a dedicated studio space in a former retail unit, exploring ideas and responding to artwork selected from the Victor Batte-Lay Foundation art collection. My creative journey took me back to the Anglo-Norman Lais de Marie de France and I spent the main part of my residency responding to the lay Laüstic.
