Creative Project | Sparks Will Fly festival, Hylands Park, Chelmsford (2012)

Marina | Boreas is a dos -à-dos Artists’ Book filled with pages made by festival goers at the Cultural Olympiad Sparks Will Fly event in Hyland’s Park Chelmsford (2012). My workshop invited participants to make a page of support for one of the two giants, Marina and Boreas, whose epic journeys from overseas, culminated in a procession at the Sparks Will Fly festival event. This day also marked the final stage of my Tribal Quilt community project, run over a period of six months, with funding support from Essex County Council.
