Book Restoration Project | Childhood Treasure (2025)

Teeny Tiny Tales, a childhood treasure, had been neglected, unbound, in a cupboard for decades, and I decided that it was high time I drew on my traditional bookbinding skills, acquired during my studies and training at London College of Communication (formerly London College of Printing), and applied some TLC to the pages and cover.

I deconstructed the book with great care and stitched the text block; prepared the spine and added endpapers; mended the covers; and cased in the book.

Now I have a restored childhood book of tales, to read and treasure and pass on to future generations. An heirloom!
