Book Restoration Project | Antique Book of Poetry (2025)

When I came across this much loved book of French Poetry, it was in much in need of attention. I drew on my traditional bookbinding and book restoration skills, acquired during my studies and training at London College of Communication (formerly London College of Printing), and planned and executed a painstaking restoration of the text block. I designed and added a new had back cover and case bound the volume using exquisite hand marbled end papers.

The book of poetry is now ready to be displayed proudly on a bookshelf, to read and treasure and pass on to future generations. A wonderful family heirloom!
